The Body Studio

Avoid relapse by doing what it takes to keep your body healthy.

All of our Chiropractic patients enjoy a membership in The Body Studio included with their prepaid care plans. This is to facilitate their health and wellness by establishing a regular workout routine, rehabbing their bodies, losing weight and gets them feeling great.

The Body Studio is a unique fitness facility featuring classes to meet everyone's needs.  Our studio will be about the small details and changes in your body that turn into large improvements in your everyday life.

Our instructors understand the steps it takes to achieve a physically and emotionally healthy body.  At The Body Studio, you will be part of a supportive and exclusive community where we will provide personal attention, motivation and a relaxed atmosphere so you may attain your fitness goals.

We are not a gym.  Because we keep our membership and class sizes small, we are able to keep our studio in top running order.  In addition, the studio floor was professionally designed and constructed by Sport Court.  Sport Court features the patented "Lateral Forgiveness" and "Suspended Floor Design" which reduces the amount of stress and impact to your joints and skeletal system.

Dr. Stephen Asks some important questions of interest to Columbia residents - Chiropractor Columbia Dr. Stephen Asks...

Why is a "slipped disc" unlikely?
Separating each spinal vertebra is a disc. Its fibrous outer ring holds in a jelly-like material. Because of the way a disc attaches to the spinal bones above and below it, it can't actually "slip." However, a disc can bulge, tear, herniate, thin and collapse. But it can't slip.
Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
